Would be great if we could set retention of backups differently for each storage. Locally, I would like to keep just a few. But on my NAS, I can keep more. Maybe on OneDrive, just a single backup makes sense.
Right now, you have to pick a single value for backups to keep, so I’ve kept to using add-ons. I think this would be a great and sensible enhancement.
same on my side. i want to store google drive maybe once a week 5 backups. locally I want to store 1 backup every day. on my nas I want to store 100 backups daily.
With the new backup options we got this month the option for some more backup upload locations like google Drive or Synology. As I do backups on my local system, my NAS and an online location I would like to set the count of keeping backups per location. So I can have locally 3 backups, on my NAS 5 and online maybe the last 10 backups. Or on my NAS maybe 1ß0 backups and online and on my system 3.
So please let us set the amount of backups per location like we can do now with the encryption per location.

Such a feature would be great. I create a backup every night with the new Home Assistant feature. I’d like to save the last three backups directly in Home Assistant, but the last 14 backups on OneDrive.
