RETIRED Add-On Fenecon2Mqtt - Connect Fenecon Home (OpenEMS) energy storage systems to Homeassistant

Retirement Announcement for Fenecon2MQTT Add-on

Dear Home Assistant Community,

I am announcing that I will be discontinuing support for this add-on and retiring it.

The primary reason for this decision is to avoid redundant efforts within the community. There is another excellent integration, the HA-OpenEMS (FEMS and OpenEMS Integration), which provides similar functionality and can fully replace Fenecon2MQTT. Additionally, as noted in this discussion, the HA-OpenEMS integration offers robust features that align well with community needs. Consolidating our efforts into a single, robust integration benefits the community by focusing development and support resources.

I recommend all users of Fenecon2MQTT to transition to the HA-OpenEMS integration. Please refer to its community thread for setup instructions and support.

Thank you for your understanding and support over time. It has been a pleasure contributing to the Home Assistant ecosystem.

Hey, I haven’t worked on my HA for a while and would now like to continue a little and tidy things up.
I would like to change the labeling because it’s quite confusing at the moment. Has anything been done in this regard? Can it now be changed to make it easier to read?
