Returning Projector to Initial AR After Film

I have a projector with multiple lens memories, and I’m using that to have a CIH setup. When a movie starts, it picks the correct aspect ratio and moves to that setting. Easy enough.

I want it to return to its default setting after the film, though, and I’m struggling to figure that out. I have a scene for each aspect ratio, each of which activates a toggle. But then it needs to deactivate every other toggle, which doesn’t seem like the cleanest way of doing things.

When playback finishes it sets the default aspect ratio’s toggle on. Which means it makes no sense to have that toggle be part of the scene for that aspect ratio. The reason I don’t want to just active the scene when playback ends is that if I’m watching a TV show, I don’t want it changing AR between episodes. So I’ve got an automation that simply triggers when the default AR’s toggle is on for more than five seconds.

It’s a mess and I’ve thought myself into knots here, I think I just need someone else to put fresh eyes on what I’m trying to do.

Emby webhooks/NVIDIA Shield’s ADB integration, depending on the source.

The start isn’t the issue, it’s just wrapping my head around the best way to track which AR is active, and to switch immediately when switching away from the default but wait a few seconds before switching to the default in case another video is queued.
