If you have thought about integrating or controlling your PC using Home Assistant, this project is for you.

I have been searching for a way to integration my Windows PC from Home Assistant. I have searched a lot for such integration but could not find any that is working in 2026. Almost all are outdated.

I previously used Unified Remote App (You can google for more details), for using my Phone as Mouse/Keyboard and other controls. I wondered if I can use this existing setup (Unfied Remote Server) and patch this up with Home Assistant.

I found out such idea already being implemented in past

Here is the main github repository that I found out. but it was outdated too.
So, I decided to upgrade this one to newer versions, fix the issues and also add new features.

Here is the new fork of the original I am working on

It already been updated and I have added new features as well.

I have added UI Elements (previously had to use configuration) for most of things. I hope this helps the community and people who want something like this.

Feel free to ask any questions or test this out. if you got time and skill, You can contribute to this project as well.

Hi,

I would like to say thank you for your effort, I was trying to make the other unified remote work without success, and you just made my day.
I’m not a developer, but maybe express your wishlist how could you be helped to really revive this project. :slightly_smiling_face:

Did you already consider using HASS Agent? I’m using it successfully for remote control, controlling the media and more.

I will check it out. I may have read about it and tried it and it did not work for me earlier. now, I can see its back in active development.
