A while ago I switched from Domoticz to HA and for 99.99% I am still happy with that choice. The 0.01% is the way to configure the RFXTRX transceiver in HA. In Domoticz there were options to select the different protocols. Besides the Rpi running HA I own an old iMac. As far as I know the managing software only runs under Windows. Did one of you figure out how to manage the protocols through the RPi or even HA?
There is no way to set the protocols with HA.
Have you tried setting the protocols you need through Domoticz, even though you’re not using it for anything else? Once you set the protocols, devices should work through HA as if you set them with RFXmngr on Windows. You can then shut down Domoticz again.
Nope, I have not. It’s quite a work-around but you’re right, it should work. Thanks for the option.
