Ring cameras with integrated lights have a motion-activated lights setting. These are device-specific and available in Ring app via camera > device settings > light settings > motion-activated lights. When enabled the lights are triggered by built in motion sensor. When I’m sitting in garden I like to disable this setting, but in the Ring app it needs to be done on a device-by-device and I also need to remember to re-enable later in evening. This is a hassle.
I was hoping the Home Assistant Ring integration would expose this control so that I could get Home Assistant to do an automation along the lines of the following: disable motion-activated lights toggles on all cameras, wait 3 hours, then re-enable all motion-activated lights toggles.
Unfortunately, the relevant control is not currently exposed by the Ring integration. If possible, please add it.
