I’m currently researching whether a Ring Intercom could work with Home Assistant before buying anything.
My setup would be a Home Assistant instance running in Docker on a server located in a remote building, connected to my home over the internet.
Is it possible to integrate Ring Intercom with Home Assistant in this kind of setup?
Also, I’d like to know whether Ring Intercom can be used without relying on Ring/Amazon cloud services, or if cloud dependency is required.
I haven’t purchased Ring Intercom or installed Home Assistant yet — I’m just gathering information before making a decision.
