Guys, I don’t know if they have changed something else or what, but none of this worked for me. I stumbled around and kept plugging away at it though, and I have a solution for both Ring doorbells and the Ring Spotlight cam. Info shared here. Cheers!
*Edit: re-reading this, I see you guys are trying to get a binary sensor for a specific application. But maybe folks looking for the same problem I was having will come across this and find this helpful, so I’m leaving it.
