Based on this recently closed Github Issue thread/comment, the official Ring integration for home assistant does not currently set the “stream_source” HomeKit needs defined in order to pass the live video through into the Home App as noted in the comment linked. It was recommended in that Git thread to make a feature request here as it was more likely to be noticed and addressed.
I’ve seen some other posts regarding this issue throughout the forum, not official request, so I figured I’d make it.
