Roborock integration fails to load

Hi,
My roborock integration is showing as “Not Loaded”
I started seeing this about a week ago and it’s on and off each time I restart my HA.

Anyone has seen this before?

Thanks

Are you on the core version or the custom version?

IMPORTANT NOTE!!

It is recommended you switch to the core version of this integration. Due to the time that the maintainers have, most time goes into supporting the core version of this integration as there are approximately 5 times as many users using that integration. There are multiple known issues with the custom component version of Roborock that are not planned to be fixed. If a user is so inclined - they can look at the fixes on the core component and carry them over here and we will approve PR. But otherwise, expect updates and fixes to this repository to be very limited at least for the time being.

It says : Custom integration that replaces a core component

Version 1.0.14

Thank you for pointing this one. that fixed it.

Can I please ask what you actually did to switch over to the core component? I can’t seem to figure out how to do it.

I deleted the integration.
And then I deleted roborock from hacks.
I restarted.
I went to integration and I added roborock.

Yeah thought that was the process but it’s not working for me damn. The roborock ‘device’ still exists in the HACS ‘integration’. Cannot see anything at all in the HACS UI. I’ve defintely installed many more than 2 things from HACS…

All these were installed via HACS - bit confused with the UI.

remove it.

Clear the HACs filter and restart HA and see if your downloaded plugins appear.

No filters on.

That’s the problem - I’m not sure how to remove it.
It does not show up under integrations, nor in HACS. As the screenshot shows - none of my HACS integrations are showing up in there but they do show up under HA integrations. I removed Roborock from there but it’s still present apparently.

It does not matter if the HACS edition of roborock is listed in HACS, what matters if that says that it is downloaded or not. It should not be downloaded.

It does say downloaded, though. First go to HA integrations tab and remove Roborock. Then, in HACS search for Roborock, go to the 3 dot menu and pick remove. Then reboot. Then go to HA Integrations again and install Roborock.

You should not see a box icon any longer on the Integration tile for Roborock.

Appreciate the response but my screenshot above says that only 2 ‘things’ in HACS are downloaded.

Anyway, when I search for Roborock, only this comes up:

I thought it may be that top one as I vaguely remember having to install that in the past but it’s not downloaded.

Nope, if you install the Roborock integration in HA now, it should be the core component, not the HACS version. I do not know where I though I saw downloaded, must have looked wrong.

That’s what I was expecting - but it seems as though there is still some presence of the custom component through HACS.

Maybe you did a manual install. If so, go to the custom_components folder in your config and check if you see a folder there named roborock or similar. remove that and restart.

just upgrade to 1.0.16 and it should work again

Yeah I posted a screenshot above of the folder being there: Roborock integration fails to load - #9 by alexdc
Is there a way to bulk delete everything in the folder? It won’t let me delete the folder if it’s not empty.
Used samba share to delete the folder from my windows machine.
THAT DID IT! Thank you!
