Roborock integration on VPN

I am using two roborock cleaners. One is in the same network as Home Assistant and the other is beeing used in another network. The networks are connected via VPN.

Now both vacuums are discovered on setup. The one in the local network is working normal, while the other one of course is using the Cloud-API via internet.

Is it possible to configure an ip adress for this one, so i don't have to use the Cloud-API? The ip is accessible via VPN.

HA is designed to work on a flat network as delivered.

There are ways to tunnel thru VPN's to do these things but I don't know what they are. If you want to do that you will need a lot more networking knowledge than you have now, and you will need to support any issues in the future.
The fact that you are asking this question lends me to give you the advice...

Use the cloud, ulisus
