I do not use Home Assistant at the moment, I just installed it because I want to create my installation soon. Then, I don’t have deep knowledge on third-party integrations.
I just received 2 different quotes to change my windows. For the roller shutters motors, I have 2 possibilities, but I don’t know which one is the best option (regarding Home Assistant) :
- Somfy RS 100 : they don’t use capacitor anymore (more reliable ?) but they communicate through IO (“closed” system);
- Profalux (don’t have the exact reference) : they are “traditional” regarding electronics, but they communicate through Zigbee (quite “open” system).
Of course, I want to be able to connect the motors to Home Assistant. What would be your recommendation?
