I just got my Home Assistant Green but after spending the whole afternoon and evening trying anything possible I can’t connect to the internet.
I’m using a Nokia G-040G-Q as a router with DHCP activated.
Do you guys have any idea if the router could be the problem or should I look somewhere else?
(I already made a factory reset using the SD card, getting stuck as it can’t connect to the internet tho)
How are you powering the Green?
Also, have you tried logging into your router to see if you can see the Green (and its IP) in the list of connected devices?
I can only see the Green in the DCHP list, not in the ethernet devices list. And I can’t access to the IP address.
I’m powering it with the power supply provided, plugged at home (110 V in Taiwan)
Stupid questions, but have you checked the basics:
- Is it connected via ethernet?
- Are the ethernet lights blinking on both the Green and the router ports?
- Is the cable working?
- Have you tried pinging 192.168.1.103 from a PC?
Also, your Host Name shows green-installer
with an expiry in the next 4 seconds. Not sure why the dhcp lease would be so short, but maybe you should refresh that screen and check if it got assigned a new lease (along with a new IP)?
So it should be on 192.168.1.103 from what I see
Can you attach a connections pic?
What about mDNS and DNS settings?
DHCP address expires in 4 secs? Should be normally around 86400 for 24 hours.
Remember that you use http not https to access the UI
So http://ip address:8123/
