Running Deconz on a remote raspberry pi

Hey everyone,

I’m currently running Deconz on the same raspberry pi as my Hassio server, but I’ve been having issues with the Deconz add-in giving me trouble when I restart home assistant. I have a spare rpi3 with nothing running on it so I was thinking about switching my Conbee usb stick over to this new pi, but I’m really new to all of this so I have several questions about how I should do it. I’ve ssh’d into the pi and installed Docker, but I haven’t pulled the Deconz image yet. Do I need to do anything special in Phoscon or in the Hassio Deconz addon before I remove the Conbee usb stick from the old pi? And does it matter if I have the Conbee plugged into the new pi before I try to install the Docker container?
Also, once I get Deconz running on the new pi, will I even be able to remotely access it from Hassio? Like I said, I’m totally new to this so bear with me. Any help is really appreciated!

With 0.92 there are improvements to the deconz integration that if you have discovery enabled in hass and deconz change IP that it should automatically be reflected in the integration.

If you still want to move to a separate rpi; start by doing a backup och deconz from its frontend. You don’t really need to move the stick until deconz is installed and you are ready to start deconz. After starting deconz on your rpi just restore from your backup and everything should work.
