Not sure if this is the right forum for this.
I have an Open Media Vault server running on an Optiplex. The OS is running from a memory stick, and the data files are on an SSD.
I planned to install HA in Docker, but over on the OMV forum someone suggested thaty setup may not be ideal for running HA. Any thoughts?

i think all installations on all arch install:
debian or alpine + docker + supervised installation (fews containers) or a simple home assistant container
i don’t how you can run it without docker.
and add-on are docker container

Yes, I’m ok to install it. My question is really is it a good idea to run it on the hardware configuration I have.
i m using a nuc; it’s a mother board you could use in an optiplex.low electricity and big power from intel cpu. you have enough power to add all services you wish , as owncloud.plex,web server etc…
to me it"s one of the best option to run hassio.you can replace ram hdd ssd …a real computer/ personal server
