Safe ambient temperature of Tuya switch?

I have a Gosund Tuya-based Wi-Fi switch. It’s been used in my attic space for more than a year to control the fan. I just realized in summer time the temperature in the attic can reach up to 65 ℃. Is that high enough to be considered as a fire hazard for Tuya switch? I didn’t find any info about that in the user manual.

Thanks for any advice!

Probably. Most commercial electronics are rated to 40°C or less.

Looking up that one, going by an online manual it has a UL94 V-0 flammability standard

Going by this manual if this is the one that you have Gosund Smart Switch: Installation & User Manual

I would consider it safe usage as long as the total load on it does not exceed the AMP’s it is able to support - 15A(Max) Rated Power: 1800W/120V for constant use, That said I would just make sure any flammable items are not near it where its installed to be on the safe side.

What you can do is install a ducted fan into the attic to lower the temps when a threshold is met to keep it manageable there in the summer months for your area if its getting decently hot there in general.
