I setup the updated SmartThings integration. My dishwasher device was setup correctly with the appropriate sensors and those sensors seem to update as expected.
I also have a gas cooktop, but the only entity created is the on/off indicator (which doesn’t update when a burner is turned on). There are no other sensors.
In contrast, the SmartThings app on my phone shows the cooktop, all 5 burners, and when a burner is on, indicates it on cooktop picture like this:
I’m expecting that in Home Assistant, the integration would create sensors for each burner indicating on and off, and that all the sensors would update as expected (like when a burner is on, the state for the whole cooktop is also on).
I don’t remember getting all those sensors before Samsung broke the integration, and it looks like I still don’t get those sensors in the newly fixed integration. Is this a shortcoming in the HA integration, on with what SmartThings is sharing on its API?
