Save Template to Template editor

Hi! Im new to Home Assistant and like the Template editor. Im using it very often.
I would like to save some often used templates to the Template editor. Something like the “RESET TO DEMO TEMPLATE” button.

What do you think?

OR/AND a Template Card with Input/Output Window :slight_smile:

I’ve been thinking the same recently. A way to add new Templates, and existing ones, similar to the Automation editor would be very handy. I’m aware of the File Editor add-on, but the Automation editor is so much better. Multi-select, multi-edit, auto-suggest, error highlighting. This would make templating so much easier.

i would be satisfied if you could replace the demo template or introduce a save button for the template editor
