I have HA set to send my iPhone (with companion app) a generated image every morning at 5am. The notification works great; if I long tap, I see a larger version of the image. But if I try to “open” the notification, it just takes me to an empty notifications section in the HA app. I can’t get the notification back after that, it’s gone forever. I would like the option to save the image. Is this possible? TIA!
I stand corrected, but I don’t think that has to do with HA, but iOS instead. Have you used any other apps on iOS that allows you to do it?
What I do is to save the image to my gallery, which is attached to my notification. I then set the navigation on the notification to take me to the appropriate view in order to view the image.
You are exactly right. No iOS notification lets you save an image. I have the image being emailed to me instead.
