Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Home Assistant together with a home battery for some time now and started wondering how to make good use of dynamic electricity tariffs without having to constantly intervene manually.
To tackle this, I began building my own solution in Home Assistant. The goal is to automatically charge the battery when electricity prices are low and power the house from the battery when prices are high, instead of drawing energy from the grid.
The whole setup is still in a test/experimental phase, but it’s already working quite well for me. Before I continue developing it further, I’d like to exchange ideas with others who have similar setups or would be interested in trying it out.
