If your portfolio is with Scalable Capital, checking on it has so far meant opening the app. This integration brings it into Home Assistant: as sensors for history graphs, templates and automations, and as a card of its own that looks and reads like Scalable’s web app. ![]()
The card – nothing to install
The card comes with the integration: no file to copy, no resource to add. After installing and a restart it is there under Add card → Scalable Capital.
The Overview shows the total value with its change over 1D, 1W, 1M, YTD, 1Y or Since purchase, with the portfolio’s curve beside it. Below come the cash balance, the positions sorted by kind – Stocks, ETFs, … –, crypto and the watchlist. Every entry has its value, open orders, a small curve, the change and the price. A click on the curve at the top opens Insights, and a symbol beside the title reads Scalable again right away.
A page per security
A click on an entry opens its page: the price with its change, the sell and buy price, and a chart from 1D to MAX that reads off the price under the pointer and marks the current price at its end. Green above the starting price, red below.
Below that, Your position with value, purchase value, quantity, average price and unrealised return, a bell for the security’s price alerts, and its transactions. While trading is closed, a moon stands in front of the price.
Price alerts, savings plans, transactions, insights
Price alerts – per security, with how far each alert is from the current price, and the ones already triggered.
Savings plans – amount, how often, and the next run.
Transactions – open orders first, the rest by day, with a search and filters. A click opens the order’s own page: quantity, limit and stop price with their distance to the price, validity, trading venue and history.
Insights – total return or portfolio value as a curve.
An editor like Annuals and Blitzer.de
Two panels, three tabs each: Settings for the account, tabs, sections, grouping, order and what a row shows; Layout for background, gain and loss colours, fonts and the chart. Only what you change is written to the dashboard.
Sensors for everything else
The portfolio – total value, cash, securities, crypto, the change per period, purchase value and return, plus a value per kind of security.
Every position as a device of its own – value, price, quantity, today’s change, purchase value with average price, return and open orders.
Watchlist and price alerts – price and today’s change per entry, every alert with its distance to the price.
Grouped by kind – on the integration page, broker, watchlist and price alerts sit under General, every position under Stocks, ETFs, …
Tidies up if you want it to – a switch under Configure removes sold positions, dropped watchlist entries and deleted price alerts. Off by default.
Scalable does not report a position’s purchase value. The integration works it out from the transaction history and checks it against the quantity held.
How the portfolio gets into Home Assistant
Scalable publishes no interface for software other than its own apps – except Scalable MCP, the connection for AI assistants. That is what the integration reads through. Home Assistant already ships everything needed for it: no add-on, no extra program.
You switch on Scalable MCP in Scalable’s web version under Profile → Security → Agentic Investing, and sign in once during setup. From then on the integration renews the sign-in by itself.
It only reads. It uses only tools Scalable itself marks as read-only, and checks that at every start and once a day. Set the access level in Scalable to Read only, and that holds on Scalable’s side too.
Installation
Through HACS as a custom repository: HACS → ⋮ → Custom repositories, add https://github.com/somansch/scalable as Integration, download Scalable Capital and restart Home Assistant. Needs Home Assistant 2026.9 or newer.
The integration speaks English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.
Good to know
Scalable hands out neither logos nor a portfolio history. Every entry therefore gets a round symbol with its first letter, and the portfolio curve comes from what Home Assistant has recorded – it starts on the day you set up the integration.
Unofficial and not investment advice: the integration has no connection to Scalable Capital, and the securities in the screenshots only show what the card looks like – they are not a recommendation.
