Scene Controller - Gauging Interest

Hi All,
I have recently taken a dive into product development, and have developed something I think could be really helpful to a lot of HA users. This idea is a “scene controller” - an inexpensive macropad that offers a premium look and feel, and is easily deployed.
This Scene Controller utilizes an ESP32 and ESPHome to connect to your Home Assistant instance, has an expansion header to allow other sensors to be connected. It will feature 4 premium feeling buttons, a sleek case with great fit and finish that is roughly 3x3x2", and setup resources. It sets itself apart from similar products by being flexible - i.e. can be placed wherever you want, open-source, expandable, and needing no hub or additional app.
Certification costs make Matter/Thread or mains power inaccessible for now. Thus, this initial product will have to be USB-C powered, though I have plans to change this if this initial launch is successful.
Before I invest more money and time into developing this, I figured I should make sure this is something people want. I am hoping to offer this for $30.
For more details about my vision for the company and product, I have set up a barebones website and about page. I will start a blog soon to show development and explain design decisions, and am always open to feedback.
One final thing, I looked through the guidelines but didn’t see anything against gauging community interest for HA-focused products. However, please let me know if this isn’t the right place for this discussion - I don’t want to step on any toes!
