i have some HomePods connected via HomeKit Bridge with my Home Assistant instance. There I have some scripts like “Send Roborock to the kitchen” that are displayed as switches in Apple Home.
Until some months, it was possible so say “Hey Siri, send Roborock to the kitchen”
and then the script was executed.
Nowadays Siri asks whether it should turn the Switch on or off.
I know, it’s more or less a HomeKit problem, but has anyone a hint for that issue?
I’ve changed neither any script nor the configuration of HomeKit Bridge nor the Apple Homekit-settings.
I also wonder what happened in the last couple of weeks. Not sure if the change is due to HomeKit or HA. A change in HK would be the logical suspect. . .
I have an HA automation called “Sleepy Time” that was provided to HK by the HK Bridge (sets desired temperatures on 7 thermostats, and turns off indoor lights). I used to be able to use Siri to “set Sleepy Time” to run the automation. That doesn’t take as of recently, I have to say “run Sleepy Time” for it to execute.
Not a big deal so far, but it has me scratching my head. While that in turn reminds me to attend to trimming fingernails, that’s a reminder I don’t really need.
edit: Hmmm. Maybe I should look at the automation and how it controls the lighting aspect of the routine (as lights or switches). Hmmm x2?
