Second (and third) sun

I have a need to have a second sun but I am not sure how to proceed.

I have a vacation home in Arizona and I automate some of the processes there (for renters, etc). I use a Smarthings hub there for basic interconnectivity (ie z-wave devices there) and I use node red and home assistant (both in a synology docker container) here in my primary house to run everything. These two local docker containers are the brains of my automation operation. The remote Smarthings hub is quite nice because it allows control of local devices there through my HA/NR instance (the brains of the operation) here. And of course devices there that are cloud push/pull are very easy to control from here.

In my automations, I use the sun.sun for sunrise/sunset for things around my primary house. I would like to use sunrise/sunset for some automations around my vacation property (beyond what its basic Smarthings hub can do) but I do not know how to have a second .sun device.

I have thought of just putting an offset from my home .sun device, but things are complicated as Arizona does not follow daylight savings time and therefore the hours offset differs from my home time zone depending on the time of year.

Any suggestions on this would be much appreciated. The need will grow as we will soon have another house in yet another timezone.

Cheers.
Glenn

you could try the suns2 integration (hacs) and set a different location…for a 3rd one, no clue

Sun2 can be set up multiple times.
I have it for 3 locations.

I read “second sun” and immediately thought “this guy must live in tatooine”. Heh.
