I’m all new to ESP and recently added my first ESP device.
I simply flashed the device, setup wifi and it automagically showed up in HA. Easy!
But it bugs me that there is no authentication at all so any device on my network would be able to reach it now and potentially do dumb things.
Am I missing something here? Can I secure it somehow? I suppose a separate IoT network would be reasonable now? I’m not sure, the IoT network do have to talk to HA anyway so that will not help?
