Not sure if this is a good place to ask, but here goes: are there integrations/plugins/whatever they are called, to integrate with NVRs (network video recorders) and cameras? I’d like to be able to have Home Assistant be the primary “hub” for the usual stuff it appears to be designed for (controlling, monitoring IOT devices like lights and switches), but also be the interface for looking at live security cameras and using pan/zoom/tilt, and reviewing saved footage. Or is this largely beyond the scope of HA?
which brand of cameras you have, there are many different ways to integrate cctv cameras in home assistant from as simple as WebRTC to as complex as AI-based frigate. FRIGATE. An AI NVR with real time object detection. Part 1 - Overview, Install, and Setup. - YouTube

Thanks for the pointer. I don’t yet have any IP cameras, but do have an IP-accessible Hikvision DVR with analog cameras. I’m basically trying to figure out the software infrastructure, e.g. Home Assistant, before buying hardware.
