Hi. Same was here. The “endless flicker” took too long, and when deep sleep pops in, the update of the display seems to stop immediately, and depending on what was updated, it could be “any colour”. Just add some delay before going to deep sleep, that made it work on my end. Same with the E1001 by the way, just a shorter time can be used.
