Segmentation fault on RPi 4 4GB - corrupted board?

My Raspberry Pi 4 4GB with HAOS has been stopping a lot lately, and I’ve been unsure as to why. I went looking into it, and I caught a home_assistant.log.fault file on the config folder starting off with:

Fatal Python error: Segmentation fault

Full file here if you’re curious.

I didn’t know if anyone had ran into this before, and if so, what the solution is? I found this thread which hinted at it being a board problem, but I didn’t know if there were any other leads at all on what it could be.

I would look at your power source and your SD card as well if you are using one. Even overheating as a possible cause.

Weirdly enough, I haven’t had a crash since posting this; if non-proper shutdowns are a cause then I am very guilty of that. Power supply should be all good, but I’ll go through with replacing SD cards, reinstalling etc and report back - thanks!

I had a lot of issues until i pulled the cover of mine to allow it to cool down.

I ended up removing the Fast.com integration, and it stopped crashing since. Coincidence or not? No idea.
