The desktop credentials do the trick indeed. It only requires you to run a Python script and mess a bit with home assistant files. Currently it’s all up and running here.
Basically follow the steps indeed located here in the github repo: GitHub - tronikos/google_assistant_sdk_custom: Fork of Google Assistant SDK integration to allow getting responses from commands to Google Assistant
I’ve updated my full overview:
Shame the mowing season is almost over here.
I have the problem that HA keeps overwriting the refresh token.
Edit:
Use a terminal to stop HA, use the samba addon to change the date, use terminal to start HA
Hi Guys,
I have been using the “workaround” integration based on Node-RED without problems. Unfortunatelly this morning I noticed my “Alfik” unavailable.
After small investigation with developer tools I see that all my requests to sdk_custom regarding Alfik return “”.
When I ask for other things like current time it works great.
It looks like my Alfik is banned on the sdk_custom integration ![]()
I can see it on Google Home as well as when I ask Gemini it responses well.
Do you have any idea what happend?
See the posts above yours. The web credentials are no longer returning personal results. You have to switch to desktop credentials as described here: GitHub - tronikos/google_assistant_sdk_custom: Fork of Google Assistant SDK integration to allow getting responses from commands to Google Assistant
EDIT: After several minutes, it just started working on its own without any intervention from me. Strange, but it might help some of us. Thank you Peter and all!
Thank you for the description. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. I made everything as described twice, checked both files three times after restarting HA also and nothing here. I can run or stop my devices but the integration always returns “”. This might be because I deleted the integration first and added again, so it was a new one.
Hello
Since yesterday I get this error:
Fehler 400: redirect_uri_mismatch
Anybody else?
Trying to add the integration, and using the python-script-generated credentials, I get to login to google, but get:
Access blocked: This app’s request is invalid
You can’t sign in because this app sent an invalid request. You can try again later or contact the developer about this issue.
If you are a developer of this app, see

Hi all,
do we may have an option by using the “HORNBACH” smart home solution?
This seems to be a Cloud Sevice by german hardware store Hornbach, which is officially supported by navimow:
Hello,
I sent yesterday a message to Segway support through the Navimow app and they replied today that Home assistant support had already been requested multiple times and that their development team is actively working on it. No ETA but I guess we can hope it will be possible one day without going through Google Home.
It became time!!!
I just got my navimow i201 awd two days ago and have been getting it all setup and testing things out. I have not set it up with google or amazon. I did send them feedback asking for HA integration as you did and got a different response.
"That is an awesome idea. Integrating your Navimow with home assistant would definitely level up your lawn care game.
Since there is still no official local API for the i-series (the new open API is currently exclusive to the X3 series hardware expansion bay), your best path forward for home assistant is the Google Assistant SDK method or Amazon Alexa.
I hope this helps. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance."
so not as hopeful as yours but maybe this year?
Interesting. I also send them an e-mail today. I’ve reviewed one of their mowers for a big (Dutch) IT Tech community website a while ago and one of the negatives was the ‘limited’ Smart Home integration possiblities. Maybe if more people ask them, they will prioritize the development…
I was thinking the same thing: the more people ask for a HASS integration, the better the chances it’ll become available.
So I also contacted Navimov Support, despite already knowing their answer and received this:
" … Thank you for reaching out to Segway Navimow Support, and congratulations on your new Navimow i206 AWD!
Currently, our official smart home integration is limited to Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
At this moment, we do not have specific information or a confirmed timeline regarding support for Home Assistant.
We appreciate the feedback, as it helps us prioritize future updates.
You can keep an eye on our official Navimow website or the Segway-Navimow Global Social Media pages for the latest feature announcements…"
