Self consumption is untracked consumption

I have tracked down my “untracked” consumption.

Its very low .085w early morning to around .61w this afternoon.

I have a EG4 flexboss21 and EG4 gridboss. All my grid and solar go through the gridboss. The untracked consumption is the self consumption of the solar equipment itself. The equipment tracks everything what it brings in from grid or returns to grid, as well as what goes into and out of my battery storage and solar PV production as well as what it feeds into my service panel main legs

. Northing in my system is untracked.

My question is how can i factor in the self consumption of the equipment for the energy dashboard. instead of saying “untracked consumption” I would like something like " solar equipment consumption"

You can use a template sensor to calculate the inverter self consumption and add it as sensor to the dashboard. I do this for my inverter. However I calculate this in my IoTaWatt.

I don’t think you have accounted for all untracked consumption with just that though.

It should be a constant load at night (yours varies a lot) and it should not be evident at all during the day as it will use solar power (before it is metered).
