Is there any option to send free sms from HA to my phone?
I don’t like to have any app running in background and drain my phone.
Or at least some cheap SMS. I checked a bit and some have 0,05€ per sms which is cheap and some have 0,075€ per sms which is also good, some other 0,2€ per SMS which is not cheap.
Did anyone manage to make SMS notification on HA for free or for a cheap SMS in Europe?
You could try CallMeBot they have information on how to use it with Home Assistant and WhatsApp. I’m assuming you’re using WhatsApp, everyone I know in the EU uses it, not as common here in the US.
