Sensors not reporting unknown when in airplane mode

Hi all,

I have the Companion App on my Android phone and it reports location, battery, etc just fine.

When I switch the phone in Airplane mode, obviously the App cannot communicate with HomeAssistant anymore. As a result, the sensors stay on the latest reported status.

Shouldn’t those sensors report “unknown” after some time? What is the expected behavior?

They’ll keep their last state until you restart home assistant at which point they will become unknown.
