Set a new custom update interval for my power meter

Hello Guys,

I just have a question, i’ve installed my brand new smart plug with power meter, I correctly set this new device in HASS, but I can’t find a way to define a personal update interval for the energy counting part.

Anyone can help me please ?

Have you read the manual for the device?

I’m sorry, effectively, I forgot to specify the model of my smart plug :roll_eyes:

I bought, and install my Broadlink SP3S (model with energy meter)
For the installation in Home Assistant, I use this => https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/broadlink/

Do you know if I can specify a custom interval without installing “Utility Meter” ?
If I install “Utility Meter” I can change de interval value, even if the script of the plug specifies a different value ?

No, you will have to read the manual to check for your self.

I’m not sure what would happen if your smart plug reset cycle is shorter than the cycle you set for the utility meter sensor. Try it and see?
