Setting up 3rd party integration from Github to HA in a docker container

Hi, I am using HA in a container Core 2025.3.3, Frontend 20250306.0 and trying to add my AEG/Electrolux washing machine. I found the Electrolux_Status Integration but it looks like the usual way to install it is via HACS. Since I my HA is running in a container and don’t have the HACS, I am looking for alternatives to install the said integration. I came across the following post. I tried copying the github repo to the docker config directory under custom_integration folder. However, the integration doesn’t come up when I try to add it. Are there some other settings that I need to change or perhaps an alternative way to install the 3rd party integrations that are available on Github to HA running in docker container?

You can install HACS also when running HA in a docker container.

Thanks for the tip. I have installed first the HACS and then the required integration.

There are many containers here.
I would check if your add-on has been added.
