Setting up Energy Dashboard for Goodwe EHA-G20 - Which values to get it right?

I finally have my inverter getting data into Home Assistant so I wanted to set up my Energy Dashboard. But even on the first screen I got lost.

I have my totals Today Energy (import/export) set up but that is as far as I got. If they are even the right ones.

With the sensors on that page and the solar/battery pages, I have no idea which entities to pick.

I read on one GitHub page about adding custom sensors that convert W and kWh and I could possible fumble my way through that, but I don’t know how it applies to my set up.

Has anyone recent gone through setting up this type of inverter before and know when entities apply to which entries?

I would be most appreciative of any assistance.

Thanks

I would also be interested in this. I’ve made some w → kwh sensors and so on, but they seem to be reporting the wrong data. My grid usage appears to be higher than my total usage!

Also keen on the correct settings to use on this

Here is what I got from another forum and it looks good:

Grid connections

Energy imported from grid: Meter Total Energy (import)
Energy exported to grid: Meter Total Energy (export)
Power measurement: Active Power

Solar Panels

Solar production energy: Total PV Generation
Solar production power: PV Power

Home Battery Storage

Energy charged into the battery: Total Battery Charge
Energy discharged from battery: Total Battery Discharge
Type of power measurement: Standard
Battery Power: Battery Power

Would love to get people’s feedback if it works for them.

Cheers

Found the same settings and they look to work fine for me.
