Frigate thinks there is a person (false) under 79%

Don’t use threshold, use min_score
min_score of 0.8% would likely be too high and filter out lower scoring true positives leading to the tracker being confused
based on your snapshots you may be using a reolink camera or some other camera with pixel corruption. I’d suggest fixing that first before trying to reduce false positives
