Setup advice with HomeKit / Aqara / Hue

Hi all, I’m about to take the leap into HA and I’ve got some questions that I hope you can help with. Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

Some context - Setup will be:
20 Hue lights
10 Aqara bulbs
Aqara T1M Light
Aqara G5 Camera
Aqara G4 doorbell
Aqara A100 door lock
SwitchBot K11+
Unfolded Circle remote
Tado Wireless Bridge + 7 radiator thermostats

  1. I’ve got some of the above listed Aqara products currently all working through HomeKit just fine - to expose these to HA do I need to purchase an Aqara hub? Which one? M200 or M3?

  2. Am I right in thinking that I can get Aqara Presence sensors to control Hue Bulbs through HA?

  3. Would HA Green be powerful enough to control the above list?

  4. Any benefits to adding Tado to HA - works just fine in HK and can’t think of any automations that I would use.

Yes on both of these.

For point #1, I believe you can use the HomeKit Device integration to bring them into HA to have your way with them there. No need to get an Aqara hub.

I agree with Fleskefjes re: points 2 & 3. No Tado experience, however (sounds like you could utilize the HomeKit Bridge integration with those as well).
