Hi everyone,
I would like to monitor the electricity usage in my house. I have a deal with an electricity company after I purchased my solar that my usage is free as long as I don’t go over an allowance each month. Long story short, I am currently not believing their numbers so the only way to check will be to monitor my consumption.
My switchboard is very small, so I can’t fit many ct clamps on my breakers cables. I was thinking to use a shelly 1pm which is wired up to each 16A breaker for the sole purpose of measuring consumption. For the breakers above 16A I can use 2 shelly em units with clamps. This way I can fit everything.
Can anyone tell me if the shelly 1pm units are relatively accurate at measuring consumption? Has anyone done it this way? I will be needing 6 units for my house breakers.
Cheers.
