Shelly BLU motion doesn't report

Hello everyone, I’ve configured some Shelly BLU motions. I’ve done the firmware update and I’ve also set some of them to beacon mode.

My goal is to use them as sun detectors for our blinds.

I have 5 different BLE Observers (S plug, S plug G3, 2 PM G3) in my network and inside the Shelly app everything is working fine. Motions and light changes are detected immediately.

The strange thing is: HA doesn’t detect changes from one device which is in another room (directly beside an BLE observer) while the Shelly app does without problems.

Is HA using another protocol as Shelly? Are not all BLE observers working with HA?

How can I solve this problem?

I assume you mean BT Proxies? I do know there are several settings (in the Shelly app/on the device as well as in HA for the device) that have to be set in order for them to work as BT Proxies in HA. Been a while since I set one up though, so I don’t remember what they’re all called or located.

So I’ve used a Shelly BT Proxy/Access point stick, made an update and set active scanner mode inside the configuration.

It works fine now.
