Shelly Bluetooth Gateway - deleted, now cannot re-add

A few days ago I removed a Shelly Bluetooth Gateway as it became redundant with a nearby ESPHome device. I deleted the device from the bluetooth integration.

Today I decided to add it back in a garage. I plugged it in, it is on the network, I changed its name but left the old IP. I can browse to its web server. In its debug log I can see it receiving bluetooth entries.

But I cannot add it back to Home Assistant. If I go to the bluetooth integration and “add device” it just says no unconfigured Bluetooth devices. But that device is not showing.

My GUESS is that it is remembering it somewhere that I cannot see. I have restarted home assistant without impact. Unlike esphome where you enter the IP, this seems to require it be noticed to add it in some fashion.

I found one note saying to delete it from core.deviceregistry, and did find it there in a deleted section. I removed that, restarted HA - no change.

Any idea how to get it re-noticed?

Shelly BLU Gateway is a WiFi device and you need to integrate it using Shelly integration, not Bluetooth.

I’m a complete senile idiot. I just saw them in the bluetooth section and forgot they got added under shelly.

Thank you. And thank you for not rubbing the obviousness of it in.
