Shelly Gen 4 Devices Long Push with Zigbee

Hello,

I am using the Shelly Devices with Home-Assistant for a couple year now, but since most 2.5 switches started to fail i recently bought their new Gen 4 switches which include Zigbee. Since my zigbee network (with a couple hue bulbs) wasn’t a big enough mesh, I started adding more devices to make my zigbee network stronger, and not use my wifi for most of my iot devices anymore.

But, now I have a question about eh Shelly 2.5 Gen4 switch.
Adding it to my homeassistant thru ZHA isn’t a problem, and I got it working pretty easily. I can use the normal switch behavior (single press on both buttons) in an automation, but is there a way to also get the long-push and double-push?
Or is zigbee limited for now and is that not possible?

I really don’t want to also add my device thru wifi with the official shelly integration and only use zigbee.

Hope someone can help

Right now it’s not possible. Shelly do not expose input sensors or decoupled mode which you need for double/long press.

They said they would be releasing that in the next firmware update, but there’s no date set for it yet.
Even once that’s done, you’ll have to wait for the inputs to be added to ZHA, which will take at least another couple of months.

Thanks for clearing that up, might have switched a bit too fast then. I think I just add the handfull of devices I need the longpush as wifi too then for now
