Hi,
If you’re reading this, one of those words in the title caught your eye. I’m looking for any advice on a strange change I’ve noticed which could involve any of the items in the title.
I have a Shelly EM3 Pro in my meter box and use one of the clamps to monitor my pool pump, filter and robotic pool cleaner which are all on the same circuit. I use the ranges to help determine which devices are in use so I can display them in my HA dashboard.
Here’s a graph showing the sensor from the Shelly for the circuit in question. This is how its looked for months with the pump set to run for two schedules during the day with a short break around lunch time.
I noticed that from around February 5th, the graph looks very different and I, to the best of my knowledge, have not changed anything.
At first glance it looked like the filter or pump were spiking every 10 minutes suddenly. It this a sign of a problem with either of these items?
NOTE: The activity you see from around 1pm to 3pm is the robotic pool cleaner which didn’t appear in the previous graph.
I looked at the date (around 5th February) which is when HA 2025.2 was released and I would have installed it. Looking at the release notes, it mentioned two things that might account for changes…
- "This release includes a major overhaul of every graph we display and show in Home Assistant. "
- A change involving the Shelly integration → " * [@chemelli74] added support for the Shelly BLU TRV to the Shelly integration. Nice!"
Has anyone else noticed any changes and am I on the right track trying to figure out what’s going on? Ideally, it’s working as it always has and now the graphs just show more data (frequency) and its nothing to worry about
TIA
