Shelly Relay Possible Debounce Issues?

I have a hot water circulator pump that I’m using a Shelly 1 relay to trigger. The device operates for about 30 seconds then shuts off. The Shelly Relay is just triggering a momentary pushbutton that tells the separate pump controller to do its thing. It’s a 3V signal with dry contacts on the Shelly Relay.

When the Shelly triggers the pump, the device then senses many other triggers while it is running which wreaks havoc with its operation. I tried swapping in a Shelly mini with no difference.

Should I try some sort of different relay that is more positively open? Suggestions? The controller itself has a BLE interface that hasn’t been utilized by the manufacturer yet. Hopefully that is a future option.

Use something solid state, like a transistor or opto-coupler to switch the dry contact input, it won’t bounce.

The opto-coupler has the advantage of being electrically isolated.
