I’ve been using HA on and off for a number of years on various platforms. RPi, docker and now a VM in PVE. I’m hoping to get it set up once and for all fully working.
WIth that said, I had the Shelly inegration set up, but somehow, the names are all screwed up. I’ve deleted them all but it still sees them and wants to add them with incorrect names. Therefore I was thinking how can I remove all traces of them ever existing and let HA “discover” them for the first time again?
Now looking online in these forums and on Reddit, people seem to say you cannot get rid of it completetly and since I am having issues with a couple of other integrations, I was thinking why not blow away the whole thing and start again. My thinking was to have a 2nd VM for “developing” the setup before migrating to the real thing.
There are bits I have already configured and don’t want to lose or foget I did (or how!). Is there a way to backup everything up and then extract what I need on my PC?
I guess I could make this the Dev one and build a brand new one, but then I still have the Shelly issue.
Just looking for advice on how to move forward I guess really.
