Shelly US Plug Gen 4 Can't Power a Transformer?

I don’t have any plans to do this, but the manual for this plug has the following caution:
“Caution! Do not plug in any direct plug-in equipment in the Device. Examples of direct plug-in equipment include plug-in transformers, battery chargers, etc.”

Anyone know what the reason for this might be? I don’t see the same mention for the older WiFi version and can’t imagine why it would be an issue.

That means you should not connect those devices because some heavy transformer could fall off from the device or generate heat. Technically anything with cord is allowed. Shelly lists:
“Supported load types:
Resistive (incandescent bulbs, heating devices)
Capacitive (capacitor banks, electronic equipment, motor start capacitors)
Inductive (LED light drivers, transformers, fans, refrigerators, air-conditioners)”
