I just installed the weather station from Shelly, which is an Ecowitt WS90. I have in set up in HA two different ways. It is set up as a BTHome Sensor and using Zigbee2MQTT. I’m not sure why this is happening but each integration is getting different values from the weather station. Temp is about 1-2° off, wind speed, direction, humidity, etc are all differ a little from each other. Precipitation is in mm on MQTT and inches in BTHome. BtHome shows precipitation as 0 in and BTHome has it as 4.4mm. (It has been raining this morning). I also noticed that hte BTHome integration shows wind speed in mph whereas, MQTT shows it in m/s. The two also have different names for measurements- Rain status= on vs. Moisture= Wet, Pressure in psi vs. Atmospheric Pressure inHg. Both have wind direction in degrees. I’m just confused as to how the same weather station can have different readings based on the integration used in HA. For example- right now both integrations have Illuminance in lx. One raeads 85,310 lx and the other 85,055 lx.
So my question is; Which integration should I use? Is one better or more accurate than the other? Does one respond quicker to changes than the other?
