Should ESPhome take control of my Nabu Casa.Home Assistant Voice PE?

ESPHome did discover my “Nabu Casa.Home Assistant Voice PE” and gives the option to “Take Control”.
Is this needed to complete the setup?
what are the pro’s and cons of esphome taking control of this device?

Without “take control” it uses default firmware and updates automaticish
