Should I upgrade Sonoff Zigbee coordinator's firmware?

Hello everyone

I have Sonoff USB Zigbee stick as a coordinator for Z2M. In HA’s hardware section it is identified as

ID_USB_MODEL: Sonoff_Zigbee_3.0_USB_Dongle_Plus

(Looked at my Amazon order and it was there described as ZBDongle-P)

Zigbee2MQTT Bridge shows following information:

Bridge
by Zigbee2MQTT
Firmware: 2.7.2
Hardware: ZStack3x0 20220219
Coordinator version 20220219

Question - should I upgrade the coordinator’s firmware? So far I have no complains.

It is advised to do so. 20220219 is quite old.

Is there some new functionality with new firmware versions or fix some serious bugs?

If I remember well, 20220219 needed to be upgraded for some aqara devices to work. Possible other devices too.

Will this upgrade work with zigbee2mqtt or is everything going to brake ? /Micke
