I have HAOS set up, it runs well, but it is taking up rather a lot of disk space.
It was given a 30GB virtual drive - of which, only 11GB is being used:
But when I look at the file on disk, it is much larger. ls -lh shows 32GB allocated and du -h shows 28GB in use.
I’ve logged in and run fstrim -av but that hasn’t made any difference. Similarly, systemctl status fstrim.service shows that the service is running.
It was my understanding that the qcow2 file should only take up the amount of space used by the underlying file system. Was I wrong in that regard?
Is there any automated way to shrink the qcow2 file?
