Sigenergy integration

I just got my Sigenergy Sigstor PV/battery installed. Working fine, but I need to have it integrated into Home Assistant since I need to have access to the solar power level. The installation of the Sigenergy ESS asks about IP, port and ID. I enter the correct params, but it says “Coldn’t connect”. I suspect Modbus TCP is not enabled in the Sigstor settings. I have found some info about it on the web, but it is not applicable to what I see in the mySigen App, cannot find how to access any such settings. Is there anyone here with updated information?

Of course I have asked Sigenergy support about this also, no answer yet. I am not very hopeful to get an answer from them.

Modbus/TCP needs to be enabled by your installer. It’s not a setting which can be enabled by the user.

Did you get a reply from SigEnergy support ? My installer (Sydney, AU based) is claiming my Sigen Gateway/SigenStor system does not have any MODbus capability. GoogleAI says otherwise.

Your installer doesn’t know what he’s talking about. There is a setting he can toggle “Modbus TCP Server Enable”, and the data should start flowing through to HA
